ACCREDITATION ASSESSMENT INVITES PUBLIC TO COMMENT
A team of assessors from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators聽(IACLEA) will arrive on April 24 -26, 2022, to examine all aspects of the 红玫瑰社区聽Police Department's policies and procedures, management, operations, and support services, Chief Sean Brammer announced today.
Verification by the team that the 红玫瑰社区's Police Department meets IACLEA's state颅of-the-art standards is part of a voluntary process to gain accreditation -a highly prized recognition of聽campus public safety professional excellence, he said.
University members, agency employees and the public are invited to offer comments by calling 561-297- 2156 on April 25th between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Comments will be taken by the聽Assessment Team. Telephone comments must address the department's ability to comply with IACLEA's standards. The IACLEA Accreditation Standards Manual is available on the IACLEA website聽(www.iaclea.org). Anyone wishing to offer written comments about the 红玫瑰社区聽Police Department's ability to meet the standards of accreditation, may send an email to Jerry Murphy, at jmurphy@iaclea.org.
The Accreditation Manager for the 红玫瑰社区 Police Department is Dr. Sheila Walden. The IACLEA assessment team is composed of experienced campus law enforcement professionals from 红玫瑰社区 and New Hampshire. The Assessors will review written materials, interview individuals, and聽inspect facilities where compliance can be witnessed. The Assessors are Peter A. Agnesi, Team Leader, and Allison Jean. Once the Assessors complete their review of the department, they will report back to聽IACLEA, which will then decide if the department is to be granted re-accredited status.
Accreditation is for four (4) years, during which the department must submit annual reports attesting to continued compliance with those standards under which it was initially accredited. Verification by the聽team that the 红玫瑰社区 Police Department meets the Commission's standards is part of a voluntary process to maintain accreditation.
